This is your chance to take your skills global! Xelvin is looking for South African Millwrights, Mechatronics Technicians, and Electromechanical Technicians to join a fast‑growing team in the Netherlands, building cutting‑edge automated machines used around the world.

About the Role:

As a Mechatronics Assembly Technician, you won’t just fix things - you’ll bring machines to life. You’ll assemble mechatronic modules, integrate them into fully functioning machines, and see your work move through final adjustment and commissioning.

If you enjoy variety, problem‑solving, and seeing a machine come together piece by piece, this is the role for you. You’ll be part of an international, hands‑on team where your skills and initiative directly impact production and innovation.

What You Will Do:
  • Assemble modules and complete machines in both mechanical and electrical fields
  • Carry out technical modifications and adjustments on machines
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC‑controlled systems
  • Read and work from technical drawings and digital 3D assembly instructions
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and support quality control
What You Bring:
  • Hands‑on experience in machine assembly, automated machinery, or production equipment
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, pneumatics, and basic PLC fault‑finding
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and digital assembly instructions
  • Comfortable working in a high‑paced, hands‑on environment
  • Experience in OEM, packaging machinery, automation, or industrial machinery is a strong advantage
What can you expect from us:
  • A fixed 2‑year contract (40 hours per week), with the prospect of a permanent position
  • A salary around €4,300 gross per month, depending on your experience
  • 25 paid holidays + potential ADV days
