Job summary

Xelvin is seeking experienced Automation Engineers to design, program, test and optimise industrial automation systems in the Netherlands. You will develop PLC, HMI and SCADA solutions and collaborate with mechanical, electrical and software teams to deliver complete control systems.

Expect a 2-year contract with potential for permanent employment, a 40-hour workweek, and relocation support including housing guidance, visa help and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Mechatronic, Electrical or Industrial Automation Engineering qualification.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial automation or system integration.
• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Beckhoff).
• Knowledge of HMI, SCADA and networks (Modbus/Profinet/OPC-UA).
• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, servo drives and motion control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English and Afrikaans communication skills.

At Xelvin, we are looking for experienced Automation Engineers who can work on the design, programming, testing and optimisation of industrial automation systems.

What will you do?

What do you bring?

• A relevant qualification in Mechatronic, Electrical or Industrial Automation Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, system integration or controls engineering
• Experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Beckhoff or similar
• Knowledge of HMI, SCADA and industrial communication networks such as Modbus / Profinet / OPC-UA
• Familiarity with sensors, actuators, servo drives and motion control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good English and Afrikaans communication skills, with Afrikaans being helpful because of its similarity to Dutch

What can you expect from Xelvin?

• A 2-year contract with the prospect of a permanent position
• 40 hours per week
• Salary starting from €3,500 -€4,300 gross per month, based on experience
• 25 paid holidays
• Possible ADV days, depending on the client and assignment
