Job summary

We seek qualified Millwrights with strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, especially in food/FMCG packaging or production environments. Relocation support and Dutch language training are provided along with full relocation budgeting.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification such as Red Seal Millwright or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance of production machinery in food/FMCG environments is advantageous.
• Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance documentation.
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands and adapt to Dutch safety and work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose and repair production machinery and industrial equipment.
• Read electrical diagrams and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Perform preventive maintenance and address breakdowns promptly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safe, compliant operations.

Xelvin connects skilled South African technical professionals with career opportunities in the Netherlands, while supporting them through the full relocation journey, from visa and paperwork to housing, Dutch lessons and onboarding.

We are looking for qualified Millwrights with strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience. Experience in the food industry, FMCG, packaging or production environments is a strong advantage.

You could be a good fit if you:

• Speak Afrikaans and English well
• Have a relevant trade qualification, such as Red Seal Millwright or equivalent
• Have experience as a Millwright / Maintenance Technician / Electro-Mechanical Technician
• Have worked in food production, FMCG, packaging, manufacturing, mining, processing or industrial maintenance environments
• Can maintain, diagnose and repair production machinery and industrial equipment
• Have experience with motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, drives, sensors and control systems
• Can troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
• Have experience with preventive maintenance, breakdowns, inspections and technical improvements
• Can read technical drawings, electrical diagrams and maintenance documentation
• Are hands‑on, safety‑focused and motivated to grow long‑term in the Netherlands
