Placements24 in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee a key e-commerce fulfillment area. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping, and drive productivity and safety.

This hands-on role requires at least 3 years of warehouse experience with 1 year in supervision, knowledge of WMS, and strong leadership and communication skills. Flexible hours including nights/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• Experience in e-commerce fulfillment is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes (picking, packing, shipping).
• Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities within the e-commerce fulfillment area.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve performance targets.
• Ensure accurate and efficient order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Monitor workflow and implement strategies to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular quality checks on orders and packaging.
• Manage inventory accuracy within the assigned area through diligent stock management.
• Report on team performance, operational metrics, and any issues or challenges encountered.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and management to optimize overall warehouse operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
