Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a hands-on Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader to oversee warehouse and logistics operations in Port Elizabeth. You will manage a team, ensure smooth shift operations, maintain stock accuracy, and uphold safety standards to keep goods flowing efficiently.

The role requires a logistics-related qualification, 3+ years in warehousing, and proven supervisory experience. Responsibilities include stock management, shift handovers, and reporting on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain Management (NQF 5 or above).
• Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment.
• Supervisory or team leader experience in a shift-based operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all shift activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, dispatching, and returns.
• Plan and coordinate team workloads, ensuring resources and equipment are used efficiently.
• Monitor shift performance and ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Oversee product quality, correct labelling, and dispatch accuracy.
• Manage handovers and communicate key updates between shifts.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory records and assist with stock takes.
