Placements24 in Durban seeks a passionate E-commerce Community Manager & Content Creator to build an active online community around its brands. You will shape the voice across social channels, engage with customers and produce compelling content that resonates with shoppers.

Ideal candidates have a knack for storytelling, a strong eye for visuals, and hands-on experience with Canva/Adobe Spark. You will report to the marketing team and help grow brand loyalty in a fast-paced e-commerce setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as Community Manager or content creator in e-commerce preferred.
• Proven ability to create engaging written and visual content for social media.
• Strong copywriting, storytelling and communication skills.
• Familiarity with social listening tools and analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social media content strategy to build brand community.
• Create posts, blogs, short videos, infographics and UGC campaigns.
• Moderate and engage brand communities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok.
• Collaborate with marketing and customer service to ensure on-brand messaging.
• Monitor engagement metrics and report insights to improve strategy.
