Job summary

The Talent Room in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, seeks a motivated used-vehicle sales consultant to meet monthly targets, demonstrate vehicles, and build lasting customer relationships.

You will prospect new clients, follow up on internet leads, prepare quotations, negotiate deals, and coordinate with the F&I department to offer finance options, while ensuring accurate paperwork in the dealership CRM.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• Previous used-vehicle sales experience essential.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong prospecting and lead-generation skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Familiarity with dealership CRM/DMS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Sell pre-owned vehicles to meet monthly targets.
• Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, cold calling and database management.
• Follow up on internet, digital and dealership-generated leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
• Provide information on specifications, pricing and finance options.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate sales professionally.
• Work with F&I to facilitate vehicle finance and additional products.
• Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and submitted timely.
