Job summary

The Talent Room in Gauteng seeks an experienced Sales Consultant to drive new vehicle sales, meeting monthly targets through prospecting, referrals, networking, walk-ins, and timely responses to online inquiries.

You will build lasting relationships, present vehicle specs and financing options, prepare quotations, and collaborate with the Finance & Insurance team to close deals. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

Matric / Grade 12 is required.
Previous new vehicle sales experience at a motor dealership.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Strong prospecting and lead-generation ability.
Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Computer literacy; dealership CRM/DMS experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Sell new vehicles in line with monthly sales targets.
Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, walk-ins and lead follow-up.
Handle internet and digital sales leads professionally and timeously.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle solutions.
Provide accurate information regarding vehicle specifications, features, pricing and finance options.
Prepare quotations and negotiate professionally with customers.
Work closely with the Finance & Insurance Department to facilitate vehicle finance and additional products.
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted timeously.
Maintain an active customer database and follow up on prospective customers.
