Job summary

IQVIA Uganda is seeking an Expert Detailing Representative to drive HCP engagement and promote consumer healthcare brands. You will conduct expert detailing sessions, recruit HCPs to digital platforms, and leverage multiple channels to maximize reach and impact.

Ideal candidates have a science background with 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales, strong communication, and proficiency with CRM tools like Veeva. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.
• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency with digital tools and CRM (Veeva).
• Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and KPIs.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance and ethics.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct expert detailing sessions with HCPs, presenting data and benefits.
• Recruit HCPs to digital platforms and support digital engagement.
• Use multiple channels (face-to-face, remote, email, webinars) to engage.
• Guide HCPs in accessing patient communication tools and digital resources.
• Encourage participation in CME modules.
• Ensure in-call quality and monitor performance metrics.
• Build and maintain relationships with HCPs in your territory.
• Distribute medical samples to support trials and conversions.
• Track KPIs and meet sales targets.
• Provide market insights and competitor intelligence.
• Organize and support educational events.
• Uphold compliance and represent the field team professionally.
