Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Detail Representative for the KwaZulu-Natal Coastal region. The candidate will travel extensively, educating doctors and driving market share for our medical products.

The role requires a medical background, strong computer literacy, and a valid driver’s license. You will work with the sales team to ensure stock availability and execute the brand's marketing plan across GP and specialist channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a medical field is required.
• Proficiency with computers and MS Office.
• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• The role holder will travel 90% of their time on a mixture of planned and ad-hoc business travel.
• Staying away from home on a regular basis.
• Responsible for educating scripting doctors on specific products.
• Displace the competitors using clinical evidence on company products.
• Implement the marketing strategy on the brand.
• Make appointments, and call timeously on the DR to increase our products market shares.
• Work closely with the sales counterpart to ensure stock availability.
• Daily appointment ratio of 75% a day.
• Customer split between GP and specialists daily.
• Achieve minimum of 85% on product assessments on a quarterly basis.
• Accurate, comprehensive and timely submission of administrative documents.
• Market share target achieved for each product.
