Job summary

You will drive counter sales, build trade-account relationships, manage fleet availability, process contracts, and uphold health and safety standards while coordinating with the workshop.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Certificate or diploma in sales, business or logistics is advantageous.
• Minimum 2–3 years counter sales/hire experience is strongly advantageous.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
• Good technical/mechanical aptitude and POS/rental software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Counter sales and revenue: drive hire revenue targets and handle inquiries.
• Customer service and retention: build relationships with trade accounts.
• Fleet and equipment management: track availability and liaise with workshop for repairs.
• Contracts and compliance: process hire contracts and manage invoicing.
• Team leadership: support and mentor junior counter staff.
• Stock and cash handling: maintain cash-up accuracy and follow up on invoices.
• Health and safety compliance: adhere to PPE and safe-handling protocols.
