Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional and service-driven Duty Manager to join a charming 4-star Victorian boutique hotel in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily hotel operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Supervise front office and guest-facing teams, ensuring high service standards.

Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints professionally.

Monitor check-in and check-out procedures and ensure a seamless guest experience.

Support staff management, including shift planning and team coordination.

Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to maintain operational standards.

Assist with administrative duties, reporting and operational procedures.

Ensure the hotel maintains its reputation for quality service and attention to detail.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory role within a hotel environment.

Experience in a 4-star or boutique hotel will be advantageous.

Excellent communication, leadership and guest relations skills.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.

A hands‑on approach with excellent problem‑solving abilities.

A professional manner and a passion for hospitality.

Salary: R18,000 per month.
