Placements24 is seeking a Senior Management Consultant to join our client’s Durban, KwaZulu-Natal team. You will advise C‑suite executives, diagnose organizational issues, and design transformative strategies across diverse industries.

Lead engagements, guide implementation, and drive sustainable growth for high‑profile clients in the Durban market and beyond. You will partner with senior leaders, facilitate workshops, and mentor junior consultants while staying ahead of industry best practices

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in management consulting.
• Proven track record leading and delivering complex transformation projects.
• Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives.
• Demonstrated experience in change management and organizational design.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to travel as required for client engagements.
• Experience working within the South African market, particularly in or around Durban, is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth analysis of client operations to identify improvements and strategic opportunities.
• Develop and present comprehensive business cases, strategic plans, and transformation roadmaps.
• Lead project teams, manage client relationships, and ensure successful delivery of engagements.
• Advise senior leadership on critical business decisions, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions to drive consensus and action.
• Design and implement change management strategies to ensure adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and global economic shifts.
• Ensure the highest quality of deliverables and client satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
