Placements24 is seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Manager to oversee the Durban operations, managing a broad portfolio of commercial agreements, from drafting to negotiation and administration. The role demands deep knowledge of contract law, strong negotiation skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

You will collaborate with legal, procurement, sales, and operations to ensure terms align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in commercial contract management or related legal field.
• Strong understanding of contract law principles.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams in Durban.
• Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office.
• Degree in Law, Commerce, or related field advantageous.
• Experience in the industrial sector is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial contracts (supply, service, NDAs, partnerships).
• Manage contract lifecycle with centralized documentation.
• Provide expert contract advice on risk assessment and compliance.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, sales, and operations to align terms with business objectives and company policies.
