Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in maritime studies, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Minimum five years’ experience in marine logistics or port operations.
• Experience handling complex cargo operations in South Africa is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel arrival and departure schedules with port authorities.
• Prepare and submit customs, port, and cargo documentation.
• Monitor cargo loading and discharging operations for safety and timelines.
• Liaise with shipping agents, bunker suppliers, and marine surveyors.
• Track vessel performance and port congestion to inform management.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company safety policies.
