On Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly organized Workshop Coordinator to manage daily scheduling, assign job cards to technicians, and track vehicle repairs from drop-off to handover. You will optimize capacity, coordinate parts, and liaise between service advisors and workshop staff.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in an automotive workshop, solid DMS experience, and excellent communication skills. This role offers growth into service advising or workshop management within a dynamic team.

Formación

• Minimum 2–4 years in an automotive workshop or service department role.
• Proficient with DMS such as Automate, Kerridge, Drive, or similar.
• Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities in a busy workshop.
• Strong verbal and written communication for internal teams.
• A basic understanding of automotive mechanics and repair timelines.
• Grade 12/Matric; relevant logistics or automotive qualifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule workflows by assigning job cards to technicians to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor progress to ensure repairs meet promised delivery times.
• Act as liaison between service advisors and technicians with updates.
• Coordinate parts orders and deliveries to technician bays.
• Coordinate off-site work with sublets and external vendors.
• Keep DMS updated with accurate job statuses and notes.
