Job summary

On Consulting (Pty) Ltd is recruiting a Body Shop Team Leader for a Dubai-based opportunity. You will manage the daily workflow of panel beaters, spray painters, prep technicians and strip-and-assembly staff to maximize floor efficiency and ensure OEM repair standards are met.

The role requires a Certified Trade Test / Red Seal (Panel Beater or Spray Painter) or equivalent, with 5+ years in a busy collision repair environment and at least 2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Trade Test / Red Seal (Panel Beater or Spray Painter) is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5+ years in a high-volume collision repair environment.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader capacity.
• Familiarity with Audatex or Abuntex estimating systems.
• Knowledge of OEM repair methods and structural repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor workflow and allocate tasks to panel beaters and spray painters.
• Provide technical guidance on structural alignment and repair data per OEM methods.
• Perform stage-by-stage and final quality checks to ensure factory standards.
• Monitor cycle times and eliminate bottlenecks from stripping to handover.
• Enforce PPE usage and safe operation of frame machines and welding equipment.
• Manage workshop consumables and ensure equipment maintenance.
