Job summary

Abacus Agile (Pty) Ltd, a forward-thinking leader in drone-enabled agriculture, is seeking a Technical Sales professional to grow our Northern Cape footprint. You will support the sales team, demonstrate drones on-site, explain capabilities, and guide customers through the adoption of precision farming solutions.

Travel across farms, deliver compelling technical presentations, train clients, and hand over installed drone systems.

Qualifications

Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Strong technical support and training abilities.
Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sales team to support customer engagements and facilitate the sales process
Conduct on-site drone demonstrations for prospective agricultural clients
Explain drone capabilities, software, mapping technologies, and precision agriculture applications
Assist with technical presentations, product evaluations, and customer consultations
Provide expert technical guidance throughout the sales cycle
Support the implementation and handover of drone systems to customers
Train clients on the operation and practical use of agricultural drone equipment
Troubleshoot basic technical queries and liaise with the technical team as needed
Build strong relationships with customers by delivering exceptional technical support
Stay updated on advancements in drone technology, precision farming, and agricultural innovations
Travel extensively to farms and customer sites across the region
