Job summary

ADvTECH Schools Division in South Africa’s private education sector is seeking a dependable Driver to support school transport operations. You will perform various driving tasks, conduct daily vehicle checks, and assist with routine cleaning and maintenance to keep buses in a safe, presentable condition.

The role requires fluency in English, punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work overtime as needed in a school environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) is required.
• Valid EB driver’s licence and PDP.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive the school bus safely.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance of vehicles.
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks as required.

Duties

• Responsible for performing various tasks as required of a Driver.
• Responsible for performing miscellaneous tasks as and when required.
• General cleaning, housekeeping and basic maintenance of vehicles.
• To clean bus, fill up bus and do daily checklist requirements.
