Placements24 is seeking an experienced Drilling Supervisor to manage exploration drilling operations near Queenstown. This hands‑on role ensures safe, efficient execution of drilling programs, overseeing crews, equipment and consumables while maintaining detailed logs and sample data for resource evaluation.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in exploration drilling, with 2+ years in supervision, strong leadership and safety culture, and the ability to work in remote locations for

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in exploration drilling, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with drilling techniques (RC, core drilling).
• Strong understanding of drill rig operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in remote locations for extended periods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• First Aid and relevant safety certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of drilling crews and equipment on exploration sites.
