Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Drilling Supervisor to manage drilling operations at our client's site near Polokwane. You will lead drill crews, coordinate equipment, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to plan for exploration, production, or geotechnical projects.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on drilling experience in mining, a proven track record of managing teams, and solid knowledge of health and safety regulations.

About the Role

This critical role ensures that drilling activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and according to plan, whether for exploration, production, or geotechnical purposes. You will lead a team of drillers and support staff, manage equipment, and ensure adherence to stringent safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on drilling experience and strong leadership capabilities to maintain high performance levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all drilling crews and activities on site, ensuring efficient operations.
• Ensure adherence to all safety procedures, regulations, and company policies during drilling operations.
• Monitor drilling progress, equipment performance, and resource utilization, implementing adjustments as needed.
