Placements24 is seeking a Senior Drilling Supervisor to oversee all drilling operations in the Mahikeng region. The role requires strong leadership, extensive drilling know-how, and the ability to manage rigs, crews, and contractors in a challenging field environment.

You will ensure adherence to the drilling program, safety standards and regulatory requirements while optimizing performance and controlling costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a strong asset.
• 10+ years progressive drilling ops experience; at least 5 years in supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, well control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all drilling and completion activities on location per the program and policies.
• Manage daily drilling crew operations, including rig personnel, service providers and contractors.
• Monitor performance, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and reduce risk.
• Ensure strict compliance with SHE regulations and procedures.
• Oversee maintenance and proper functioning of drilling equipment and tools.
• Prepare daily drilling reports, track KPIs and manage costs.
• Mentor and develop junior drilling staff and ensure training.

About the Role

You will lead on-site drilling teams, manage resources, and ensure the integrity of drilling operations. Key Responsibilities

Requirements
