• Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure all personnel are aware of hazards and safety procedures.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of drilling equipment, coordinating with technical support.
• Manage inventory of drilling supplies and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Prepare daily drilling reports, detailing operations, encountered issues, and resolutions.
• Liaise with company representatives, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
• Respond to emergencies and manage incident response effectively.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging field conditions.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to rig sites in and around Gauteng .
• Proficiency in drilling reporting software and standard office applications.
• Relevant certifications in drilling operations and safety are highly desirable.
