Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Drilling Operations Manager to lead the drilling execution strategy for projects around Soweto. This executive role covers planning, supervision, safety, budgeting, and stakeholder management with service providers and regulatory bodies in Gauteng.

You will guide drilling engineering and rig teams, drive cost efficiencies, ensure strict HSE compliance, and manage contracts and supply chains to deliver safe, on-budget operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12 years drilling operations experience, with at least 6 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and operational best practices.
• Proven leadership and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure environments.
• Strong understanding of contract management and supply chain logistics.
