Job summary

South African Breweries (SAB) is seeking a seasoned logistics leader to drive Distribution Process Optimization and manage depot performance. You will guide DPO implementation, budget planning, and 3PL relationships while ensuring service levels and safety compliance across the distribution network.

The role requires a 3-year degree in Supply Chain or Logistics and at least 5 years in logistics, with strong MS Office skills and a proactive, compliant mindset.

Qualifications

• 3-year tertiary degree/diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Minimum 5 years in logistics and supply chain management.
• Experience with DPO/Distribution processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead DPO implementation and drive departmental performance.
• Negotiate contractor costs to achieve best economical price.
• Review department resources and prepare annual budget.
• Develop strategic plans aligned to the depot business plan.
• Manage 3PL contractors and ensure SLA compliance.
• Plan fleet utilization and route optimization for cost efficiency.
