Job summary

PepsiCo South Africa is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for Distribution to plan and optimize the delivery network across multiple facilities, ensuring on-time service and cost-efficiency. You will lead a distribution team, manage routes and fleet, monitor inventory, ensure health and safety compliance, and partner with sales and logistics to meet demand and improve P&L performance.

Qualifications

• Logistics or supply chain qualification required.
• 10+ years warehousing and distribution experience in a unionized environment.
• 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP or equivalent ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of delivery routes to ensure timely, cost-effective transport.
• Oversee fleet maintenance, scheduling and utilization for efficiency.
• Manage stock levels to meet delivery demand and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements in distribution.
