Job summary

SAB is seeking a Distribution Controller for the Waltloo Depot in Tshwane. The role focuses on managing distribution performance to overcome delivery challenges, optimize resource use, and align with the depot business plan.

You will lead the DPO implementation, oversee budgeting, and drive service levels and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate has a relevant 3-year degree in Supply Chain or Logistics and at least 5 years in logistics.

Qualifications

• Relevant 3-year tertiary degree/diploma in Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
• 5 Years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Distribution Process Optimization (DPO) implementation.
• Plan and manage the budget and resources for the department.
• Review and optimize delivery schedules and SLA adherence.
• Manage 3PL contractors and drive performance improvements.
• Monitor fleet utilization and route planning for cost efficiency.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and industrial relations standards are met.
