Excellent spoken English and Afrikaans are essential for calls and customer interactions. Main tasks include picking, packing, booking courier collections, tracking deliveries and maintaining dispatch records, while supporting stock counts and handling walk-in customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, order fulfilment or logistics administration, preferably in ecommerce.
• Excellent spoken English, with clear, confident and professional telephone communication.
• Good conversational Afrikaans, sufficient to assist customers and handle telephone enquiries.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent accuracy, particularly when working with multiple orders and products.
• Good computer skills, including email, spreadsheets and learning order-management and courier systems.

Responsibilities

• Pick, check and pack orders accurately, verifying products, quantities, delivery details and packaging.
• Book courier collections, prepare waybills and manifests and manage parcel handovers.
• Track deliveries, resolve queries and communicate with customers and couriers.
• Maintain dispatch records and provide a daily update of orders shipped and anything outstanding.
• Assist with stock counts and stock records, keeping the dispatch area organised.
• Answer incoming calls, take accurate messages, handle reception and email enquiries and assist walk-in customers.
