Job summary

BAT in Cape Town is seeking an IDT Area Lead – Customer to drive digital program delivery across the SSA markets. You will leverage agile practices and a broad tech stack to translate business needs into deliverable digital solutions, coordinating with global centres and external vendors.

You will manage end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, partner with stakeholders from multiple functions, and drive transformation roadmaps to accelerate route-to-market initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a digital project management role (or equivalent).
• Delivering concurrent transformational projects across multiple vendors/stakeholders – e.g. agency, internal development, factory model teams, offshore
• Proven experience with agile methodology

Responsibilities

• Act as a Business Partner, elicit business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for delivery teams.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects across the Area.
• Collaborate with global Centres of Excellence to ensure scalable solutions are available for implementation.
• Manage transformation roadmaps and co-ordinate project delivery across markets.
• Apply Lean and Agile methodologies to optimise value streams and faster delivery.
• Drive insights and data-driven decision making for the Customer pillar.
