Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Detail Representative to cover the Pretoria East area. The role requires a medical field degree and a valid driver’s license, with frequent travel comprising the majority of duties.

The incumbent will educate doctors on products and use clinical evidence to strengthen the brand’s market position. The position demands close cooperation with the sales team to maintain stock availability while achieving quarterly product assessment targets and an 85% accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical field or related area.
• Computer literate with basic MS Office skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 90% of the time for planned and ad hoc business travel.
• Stay away from home on a regular basis.
• Educate scripting doctors on specific products.
• Displace competitors using clinical evidence on company products.
• Implement the marketing strategy on the brand.
• Make appointments and call timeously to increase product market share.
• Coordinate with sales to ensure stock availability.
• Maintain a daily appointment target of about 75%.
• Segment customers into GP and specialists daily.
• Aim for at least 85% product assessments per quarter.
• Ensure accurate, comprehensive, and timely submission of admin documents.
• Achieve market share targets for each product.

Responsibilities:

• The role holder will travel 90% of their time on a mixture of planned and ad-hoc business travel.
• Staying away from home on a regular basis.
• Responsible for educating scripting doctors on specific products.
• Displace the competitors using clinical evidence on company products.
• Implement the marketing strategy on the brand.
• Make appointments, and call timeously on the DR Increase our products market shares.
• Work closely with the sales counterpart to ensure stock availability.
  
• Daily appointment ratio of 75% a day
• Customer Split GP and specialists daily
• Achieve minimum of 85% on product assessments on a quarterly basis
• Accurate, comprehensive and timeous submission of administrative documents.
• Market share target achieved for each product.
