Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Detail Representative for the East Rand region. The role involves extensive travel (approximately 90%), educating doctors on our products, and growing market share across GP and specialist segments.

You will implement the marketing strategy, coordinate with the sales team for stock availability, and ensure timely administrative submissions while meeting quarterly product targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a medical field (e.g., Biokinetics, Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
• Computer literate with basic MS Office knowledge.
• Valid Driver's License and access to a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Travel 90% of the time on planned and ad-hoc business travel.
• Staying away from home regularly.
• Educate scripting doctors on specific products.
• Displace competitors using clinical evidence on company products.
• Implement the marketing strategy on the brand.
• Make appointments and call timeously on the DR; increase our products market shares.
• Work closely with the sales counterpart to ensure stock availability.
• Daily appointment ratio of 75% a day.
• Customer split between GP and specialists daily.
• Achieve minimum 85% on product assessments quarterly.
• Accurate, comprehensive and timeous submission of administrative documents.
• Market share target achieved for each product.
