Sabenza IT & Recruitment in Cape Town is seeking a Desktop Engineer who owns issues from start to finish, diagnosing and fixing across software and hardware. This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll provide first and second line IT support to end users, log and track tickets, and work with asset teams to keep systems reliable. Strong communication is essential.

Competenze

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• 2–3 years IT support experience.
• Certifications: A+, N+ and/or MCTS/MCITP (or equivalent).

Mansioni

• Provide first and second line technical support to end users
• Analyse, diagnose and resolve system and application issues
• Respond to requests via phone, email and the service desk
• Log, track and escalate calls through to resolution
• Set up and configure IT equipment to standard
• Manage asset tracking and work with the IT Asset team
• Document processes, procedures and resolutions
• Work after hours, weekends and standby when required
