Job summary

Advius, a specialist logistics company serving healthcare, pathology and pharmaceutical sectors, seeks an experienced Debtors Clerk to own the debtors function. The role is immediate-start, permanent, onsite in Johannesburg, requiring hands-on AR expertise and strong numerical and customer engagement skills.

The successful candidate will manage customer accounts, drive collections, reconcile statements and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in debtors / accounts receivable.
• Experience with Sage, Pastel or Freight Focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Office suite (PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer accounts and debtors ledger.
• Drive collections and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Reconcile accounts and allocate receipts.
• Prepare debtors reporting and age analyses.
• Serve as first point of contact for billing queries.
• Ensure records are compliant and auditable.
