Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking an experienced Debtors and Collections Lead in Gauteng to spearhead the AR function and drive collections initiatives. The role focuses on aging reviews, reconciliation accuracy, and strong customer relationships to support cash flow planning.

You will supervise a debtors team, optimize processes, and provide insights to management. Excellent Excel and ERP experience are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Matric essential.
• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the debtors and collections team.
• Manage the full accounts receivable function.
• Review debtor aging and drive collection initiatives.
• Monitor account balances and investigate overdue accounts.
• Resolve customer queries and disputes effectively.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations of debtor accounts.
• Prepare weekly and monthly collections reports.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers.
• Support management with cash flow forecasting information.
• Identify opportunities to improve debtors’ processes and controls.
