Job summary

IOCO is seeking a highly organised Debtors Coordinator to manage client credit accounts, monitor outstanding debt and support cash-flow management. The role involves evaluating credit status, proposing facility levels, processing invoices, reconciling ledgers and actively pursuing payments.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of debtors experience, strong MS Office skills, and thrives in a high-pressure environment; contract position based in Pretoria (Lynwood Manor) or Cape Town, City Centre.

Qualifications

• Debtors experience required and 3–5 years in a similar role.
• Ability to handle high-pressure environment and meet targets.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and outlook.
• Legal/commercial/corporate exposure desired (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' credit status and debt levels.
• Submit credit facility recommendations to management.
• Process invoices and reconcile debtor ledgers.
• Manage client queries and ensure timely payments.
• Achieve daily cash and debtor targets.
• Maintain regular client contact and handle debt collection.
• Conduct ledger reconciliations and respond to feedback.
• Initiate legal action when payments halt.
