Job summary

The Focus Group in Sandton is hiring a Call Center Agent to support death benefit claims administration under Section 37C of the Pension Funds Act. You will contact beneficiaries by phone, email and in person, gather documentation, and keep thorough records with high confidentiality.

Candidates should have Matric with Maths, English and Afrikaans, fluency in both languages, 1–2 years in financial services, and solid MS Office skills. On-site role with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths, English, Afrikaans.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• 1–2 years’ experience in financial services, Section 37C knowledge helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Excellent investigation, tracing and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with beneficiaries by telephone, email and face-to-face.
• Trace and identify potential beneficiaries for claims.
• Gather and verify documentation from beneficiaries, employers and clients.
• Maintain records and provide feedback to stakeholders.
• Deliver allocation recommendations in line with legislation.
• Meet monthly targets with professionalism and service excellence.
• Ensure processes comply with POPIA privacy parameters.
