Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end death-claims operations with strong stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of GAP death-claims processes and Section 37C requirements.
• Ability to implement process improvements and drive automation.
• Proven leadership and people-management capabilities across large teams.
• Experience navigating regulatory/compliance and fiduciary risk in life assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end GAP and Section 37C death-claims operations from notification to payment and closure.
• Establish ownership, segregation of duties, approval limits and escalation routes.
• Translate forecasts into capacity plans and allocate work across teams.
• Monitor risk controls, quality, turnaround time and payment accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and digitisation while ensuring compliance.
• Provide governance insights and regular performance reporting to stakeholders.
