Job summary

Clicks Group seeks aDC Supervisor Picking for the Centurion distribution centre. Reporting to the Dept. Manager, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to meet productivity targets while adhering to policies and safety standards.

You will hold daily meetings, address performance and training needs, plan staffing against volume and budget, and ensure timely KPI reporting. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and sustaining brand values.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Advantageous).
• 3 years’ experience in a logistic environment (Essential).

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to meet productivity targets and ensure adherence to policies and processes.
• Hold daily SGM meetings, address performance and training needs to drive improvement.
• Plan staffing requirements based on volume and budget, and manage daily/weekly reporting.
• Ensure KPI board is completed correctly and timeously and handovers between shifts.
• Deliver high levels of service to customers and maintain health and safety standards.

An exciting opportunity as DC Supervisor Picking has become available at New Clicks SA (Pty) Ltd. The role will be based in Centurion DC and will report to the Departmental Manager.

Purpose and Objectives

• You will be responsible to effectively manage a team ensuring adherence to policies and processes and meeting of productivity targets, within a multi-disciplined environment.
• To hold the daily SGM meetings, address performance and training needs to ensure improvement.
• To manage employees to achieve productivity targets and take remedial action where required.
• To assist in planning for staff requirements based on volume, aligned to planned budget.
• To action and manage daily/weekly reporting
• To adhere to statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards and all other internal policies to ensure compliance.
• Ensure that the KPI board is completed correctly and timeously.
• To achieve the KPI’s in the department within planned budgets and schedules and ensure a proper handover between shifts.
• To ultimately deliver high levels of service to Our Customers.
• To live and instill The Brand’s Values.

Experience and Education:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (Advantageous)
• 3 years’ experience in a logistic environment (Essential)
• Job related knowledge and skills:
