Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Data Privacy Consultant to audit and evaluate our external debt collectors (EDC) processes to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. This hybrid role requires travel to external providers and collaboration with internal teams.

You will conduct audits, assess risk, review data distribution and storage practices, and deliver reports with actionable recommendations to strengthen privacy controls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience auditing data privacy processes, especially with external debt collectors (EDC).
• Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
• Experienced in analyzing data privacy controls and risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication throughout audits and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Audit and Evaluation: Conduct thorough audits of EDC processes to manage client data privacy compliance.
• Risk Management: Assess and understand how risk is managed by third-party providers.
• Process Review: Evaluate the processes involved in the distribution, mining, and consumption of data by external debt collectors.
• Data Privacy Compliance: Ensure that data privacy and storage practices comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Reporting: Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on audit findings.
• Consultation: Advise on improvements and necessary changes to enhance data privacy and compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with external providers and internal stakeholders to implement recommended changes.
