Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a similar environment.
• Bachelor’s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas [NQF Level 07] in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights that drive business performance.
• Use advanced statistical techniques and data mining methodologies to support business decisions.
• Create reports and dashboards to present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to communicate data insights.
• Identify key processes for improvement and potential automation.
• Collaborate with finance, underwriting, claims, and other departments to gather data and understand business needs.
• Partner with IT and data engineering to ensure data infrastructure supports analytical needs.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay updated with trends in data analytics, cost management, and insurance industry.
