Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Specialist Analytics & Insights to gather and analyse data from multiple sources, identifies trends, and delivers reports with actionable recommendations. You will create dashboards visualising KPIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and meet requirements.

The role requires proficiency in SQL and Python, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and experience with Tableau, Power BI or QlikView to translate analytics into compelling insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Equivalent Qualification.
• Competency Certifications in Databricks, Azure, Data Analysis, and other technologies highly advantageous.
• 6-10 years of experience gathering requirements and analysing data.
• Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and other programming languages commonly used in data analysis.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proficient in creating story lines and insights from analytical outputs.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
• Develop and deliver reports that provide stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendations
• Create and maintain dashboards that visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate data from various sources and systems
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and analytics
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in reporting, analytics, and insights
