Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Data Analyst to analyse and report on data, from collecting raw data to conducting analyses with SQL Server or other databases. You will collaborate with business analysts, developers and the wider team to understand requirements and deliver client-focused solutions.

Responsibilities include building and automating reports in Excel, developing Power BI dashboards, and setting up SQL database structures for data storage and integration across departments.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills for building, maintaining, and automating reports.
• Experience with Excel for advanced graphs and infographics.
• Experience with Power BI would be advantageous.
• Experience setting up and maintaining databases would be advantageous.
• Scripting experience would be advantageous.
• Mining-related data/reporting systems exposure would be advantageous.
• SQL Database design and admin experience is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data to produce meaningful results.
• Develop and maintain data analysis reports using large datasets in Excel.
• Simplify and automate existing reports.
• Design and set up SQL database solutions for data storage and integration across functional departments.
• Quality assurance on live data sets.
• Develop dashboards in Power BI or equivalent.
