Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to support client sites across Gauteng, starting in Midrand. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance on electromechanical systems, troubleshoot issues, install new equipment, and maintain service records. A clean driving record and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Field Technician or similar hands-on maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and basic electronic system knowledge.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics and use diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites in Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics and maintenance on electromechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Install and commission new equipment to spec.
• Maintain detailed service reports with parts and time spent.
• Provide on-site training to client personnel and ensure safety protocols.
