Job summary

Altron in Woodmead, Gauteng, seeks a Solution Sales Specialist – Data & AI to drive revenue growth across enterprise and commercial clients. You’ll collaborate with the Account team to unlock value from data via modern platforms, analytics, and AI, positioning Altron as a trusted partner for data governance, insights, and managed services.

Requirements include 5+ years in data solution sales and enterprise B2B experience; you will lead with strategic account planning and value-based selling,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in new business development and account management.
• 5+ years in enterprise B2B sales and value-based negotiation.
• Proven experience selling data solutions.
• Sales experience with data platforms and AI services.
• Ability to influence C-suite decisions and manage complex, multi-year sales.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of enterprise and commercial accounts.
• Drive new business and account expansion, meeting and exceeding targets.
• Lead account planning, opportunity management and market strategy.
• Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders and negotiate through value-based selling.
• Lead with AI maturity and data governance assessments.
• Position Fabric, Databricks, Purview, Teradata, Snowflake and Altron's AI Factory services.
• Deliver tailored solutions, demos, proposals and business cases.
• Work with KAMs, Pre-Sales, Consulting and Partner Services on accurate pricing and handover to delivery.
• Maintain pipeline health and accurate CRM forecasts.
