Job summary

Drive Autogroup’s Morningside Nissan unit in South Africa is seeking a Service Advisor to coordinate the service process and deliver unforgettable customer experiences. You will greet customers, schedule diagnostics, and guide them through repairs with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is organised, has strong communication skills and a professional phone manner; experience with CDK is preferred and you must be comfortable working evenings or weekends when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the automotive service industry.
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Confident approach with customers to understand their needs.
• Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional phone handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and arrange efficient and accurate diagnosis of reported problem.
• Meet and greet customers in-person or via the phone.
• Experience with CDK.
• Make repair and preventative maintenance recommendations.
• Follow up with customers to ensure their expectations were met/exceeded.
• Maintain documentation, including PO, invoices, work orders, reports etc.
• Follow all organizational safety standards.
• Adaptable to work evening and weekend shifts as needed.
• Position involves sitting for long periods of time.
• Involves the use of office equipment and computers for long periods of time.
