Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is building a talent pool of Casual Cashiers for the Sunninghill stores to support customer service at the point of sale and record transactions per SOPs with accuracy and fraud prevention.

Ideal candidates have Grade 12, at least 6 months cashier experience, basic computer skills, strong English, and a willingness to work retail hours; responsibilities include cash handling, processing payments, and utilizing loyalty cards.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric required.
• At least 6 months cashier/till experience.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Strong command of English and basic customer service.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures.
• Establish a professional relationship with customers.
• Process all purchases and payments (cash, card, vouchers).
• Maintain cash accuracy and ensure safe till handling.
• Handle loyalty cards and promotions where applicable.
