Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited in Century City seeks experienced Cashiers to support customer service at the point of sale and deliver a world-class shopping experience. You will record transactions in the Dis-Chem operating system and ensure accuracy and fraud prevention according to SOPs.

Qualifications include Grade 12, at least 6 months cashier experience, MS Office literacy, strong English, and willingness to work retail hours.

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric required.
Minimum 6 months’ cashier/till experience.
Computer literate – MS Office.
Sound numerical skills.
Strong command of English.
Basic customer service.
Willing to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures.
Establish a professional relationship with customers.
Report customer complaints to the Frontline Supervisor or store management.
Be aware of current sales and promotions.
Transact all purchases and process payments (cash, card, vouchers, etc.).
Process loyalty cards for partners (Discovery Health Care, Medihelp Lifestage, Momentum Multiply, Legacy Lifestyle, ABSA Rewards and eBucks).
Ensure cash is securely managed and dropped as required by SOPs.
