Job summary

Mr D is seeking a CRM Lead to join our Cape Town team. You will design and drive end-to-end CRM strategies across our restaurant, groceries and on‑demand services, leading a high‑performing team and partnering with Product, Data, Engineering and Marketing to deliver personalised, scalable campaigns.

You should be highly analytical, data‑driven and experienced with marketing automation platforms such as Braze and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing roles.
• 2+ years’ experience managing multiple direct reports.
• Proven experience executing multi-channel CRM campaigns (push, email, in-app, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with CRM and MarTech platforms in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end CRM strategies with automation-led lifecycle marketing at scale.
• Lead and mentor the CRM team with clear ownership across lifecycle strategy and optimisation.
• Communicate with customers across multiple product offerings (restaurants, groceries, etc.).
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering, Marketing and Merchandising to align CRM strategies with business priorities.
• Lead marketing automation strategy spanning transactional, promotional and brand communications.
• Define KPIs for CRM campaigns and own operational dashboarding and testing roadmaps.
• Translate data and insights into actionable lifecycle strategies for business impact.
• Drive awareness and adoption of TakealotMORE across lifecycle touchpoints.
