What will you do?
Position Purpose: To accurately reconcile and process payments of supplier's accounts and suppliers' receipts
Position Specific Outputs
- Receiving, verifying and accurately capturing of invoices & credit notes from suppliers.
- Purchase Orders are correctly matched to the outstanding invoices as per the PO description.
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies on the invoices, supplier’s statements and PO’s.
- Assisting with generating of AP reports from Oracle.
- Participating in audits (internal & external).
Accountabilities
- Client service delivery and quality - Follow procedures and cooperate with peers and leader for best possible service delivery.
- Compliance and Risk Management - Defined legal, statutory and regulatory compliance is maintained at the required standards.
- Operational risk and governance structures, measures and frameworks are complied with, and necessary action is taken to address issues, when necessary.
- Financial Management - Contribute to cost savings within the department to assist with financial goals and targets.
Operating Model
- Coordinate and accurately process invoices/credit notes.
- Reconcile supplier, customer and balance sheet accounts.
- Process payments/customer receipts.
- Resolve queries on supplier reconciliations as well as queries that may arise from the business or external parties.
- Meet delivery objectives through working with other team members within and linked to the department / project.
- Resolve operational performance variations and problems and escalate unresolved issues to higher levels.
- Ensure delivery targets/objectives are met and operate in a supportive manner to achieve successful delivery.

Qualification and Experience
- 5-6 years' experience in finance environment
- Matric and/or finance certificate/diploma
