Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited is seeking a credit analyst to support lending decisions and risk evaluation within the Commercial Financial Advisory Growth Channel (Cape Town). The role centers on delivering informed financial solutions while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will analyze credit data, support financial advisors, and contribute to annual revenue growth. A Diploma or NQF 6 in finance is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and customer satisfaction in a collaborative banking

Qualifications

Credit analysis experience and ability to estimate risk in lending decisions.
Ability to support a Financial Advisor in an advisory environment.
Experience working in an Advisory environment is preferred.
Ability to resolve customer queries and complaints effectively.
Ensure quality and accuracy of outputs in financial analysis and reporting.
NQF 6 in financial management or a related financial qualification.
3+ years of experience in a Financial Advisory support role or Financial Analyst position.

Responsibilities

Analyze credit data to estimate risk for lending decisions.
Support revenue growth year over year for the team portfolio.
Deliver exceptional customer experience in line with Balanced Scorecard standards.
Act as the point of contact for the defined customer portfolio.
Resolve customer complaints to their satisfaction.
Grow active customer Base and strengthen client relationships.
Ensure data management and portfolio governance in line with procedures.
